Wolverine and the X-Men animated series trailer!

Check out the trailer on YouTube!

This website for the production company gives a little more information about the series.

Strange that it says "French Distribution" on there though. Is the series even going to be shown in the States?

Anyway, I had no idea this was even in the works but it looks pretty sweet. The animation is great and the voice acting is really good. Plus I gotta love that Foo Fighters and Soundgarden are used in the trailer.

Here's the "About This Video" blurb from the YouTube posting with even more information:

"When an explosive event shatters the lives of the X-Men and takes away their mentor, the beaten heroes walk away from it all.

But then they're given a rare glimpse into the future, and see a world in utter ruin, ruled by giant destructive robots called the Sentinels. A world that spiraled out of control because the X-Men had given up.

So now the most legendary of all X-Men takes the lead - Wolverine! Reuniting these broken heroes, Wolverine embarks on the ultimate mission - to prevent the world's destruction.

To rescue us from ourselves. To save the future.

Wolverine and the X-Men, an all-new animated cartoon series from Marvel Comics Studios featuring classic comic book characters like Cyclops, Emma Frost, Beast, Storm, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Rogue, and Professor X.

Starring Steven Blum as Wolverine, the voice of Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop."
